Whilst I really appreciate the need to acknowledge troubled history of colonialism etc that has been a bad mark in history, the way Australia, Canada & others commonly have some slide "we are on the land of..... people, we hold deep gratitude to them & share their land ....", you ask people about these terms & culture. Your first designed antenna has very small effective area. Probably, that's why it can not receive much energy from the Horn antenna. You can test it may be by reducing the distance between two antennas.
